Song of the Week - Asi Vivo Yo, Orquesta Colon

Here is our weekly selection to keep the Salsa mood going! A raw and unpolished gem from Orquesta Colon. This is from their fourth and last album released in 1976 - "Salsa Universal".

Orquesta Colon was the youngest salsa band to ever be signed to a record label (Rico Records). No one was over 18 years. The band played under the guidance of Gus Colon, who was just was just 17. They played in all of the clubs in the early 1970's, even though they were too young to drink! :-)

Such a great track, enjoy!
